1 /How long does a session take?
The basic package is about 2 hours and increases with the package level. (See package info for details.) We also give enough time to warm up, work through your scripts, and get the best out of your performance without it feeling rushed.
2 / What do I need to prepare before my session?
Not as much as you'd think. We'll have a chat before your session to go through everything – your voice, your strengths, and what you're hoping to get from your reel. I'll handle the scripts. You don't need to learn it before coming. You just need to show up ready to have a go.
3 / How long until I receive my finished reel?
For our standard voice reel packages, I can sometimes give it to you right away. For other packages, it can take about two weeks. I'll let you know approximately by the end of our session. A reminder that some packages offer express delivery; please check the details.
4 / Can I record remotely if I'm not based in London?
Absolutely. Our Virtual Voice Reel option is designed exactly for this. You record from home, I direct you live over video or edit your files – and you get the same studio-quality finish either way. We work with actors across the UK and beyond.
5 / Do you write the scripts or do I bring my own?
I write them. We have a library of ready-to-go scripts covering commercial, corporate, gaming, animation, audiobook, and e-learning. If you need something specific, I'll write something completely custom for you.
6 / How many tracks will my reel have?
It depends on the package. Our Starter package includes 4 tracks, which is plenty for a casting director to see your variation. Our Juicy and Jumbo packages cover multiple tracks. which you can split based on our chat together. Head over to our packages page for the full breakdown.
7/ What genres can I include in my reel?
Commercial, corporate, e-learning, gaming, animation, and audiobook – we cover the full range of voice reel genres. Not sure which ones are right for you? We'll work that out together before your session.
8 / Can I update my reel after it's been made?
Yes – that's exactly what our Voice Reel Update is for. Add 4–8 new samples to your existing reel for £350. Same direction, same quality, just a fresh set of tracks stitched straight in.
9 / What equipment do I need for a virtual session?
A decent USB microphone, a quiet space, and a stable internet connection will get you started. Before your session I'll ask you to send a dry recording so I can check your setup and make sure everything sounds right before we begin.
10 / How do I know which package is right for me?
If you're just starting out, the Starter package is a great introduction to voice reel production in London. If you're a working actor looking for a more comprehensive reel, Juicy or Jumbo gives you the range casting directors and agents want to hear. Still not sure?
